Wonderful Saturday with friends Marina, Rohan, Jess, Sam and Kate and Rohan's parents.  Visited the Abbotsford Convent (http://www.abbotsfordconvent.com.au/visitor-information), which is an old convent that has been converted into an artists area and with small restaurants.  Had a tasty latte and fruit bowl for breakfast and then a stroll through the convent grounds and the local urban farm nearby.  Hopefully, I can share this with my family some day.  Cheers!

September 28-29, 2012.  Flight from Perth to Melbourne on Jetstar was bumpy, but enjoyed VB beer on flight.  Had lovely time with friends Marina and Rohan, and their children.  This is a shot of the MCG (site of the annual AFL Grand Final), and the tennis and soccer stadiums (R to L).

Stirling area of WA.  The journey continues.  Out for a walk in the cool WA air.  Reflecting on where I have been, what I have done and what I need to do to be happy.  The recipe includes spouse, children, family, and good friends and colleagues.  Must count my blessings.

The walkway to Middleton Beach, Albany, WA.  I am thankful for the hospitality and kindness of my good Albany friends.

Aussie ute and Stirling Range.  Enjoying looking at crops with Kith and welcoming farmer.

Somewhere in WA.

Monastery at New Norcia, WA.  A chance to reflect on your spirit and life.

Stirling Ranges, WA with good friend Kith.

A great day in the wheat belt of WA with good friend Blakely, but rain is needed.

Highway of Death near Moora, WA.  Not much room for other traffic.

Somewhere east of Perth visiting plots with good colleague Blakely.  Must appreciate the road to discovery.

CBD Perth, just before getting lost somewhere near the Parliament area.  O'Donovan protocol working nicely.

Flight from Edmonton to Perth via Vancouver and Sydney was good.  Sat next to couple from Ontario.  Good to arrive at my destination and out for the O'Donovan protocol.  The picture was taken across from Sullivans Hotel.  A couple of pints at Fenians Pub on Hay Street and then back to Sullivans Hotel.
